Tour System:

If your are new to the anime convention scene and want to see what Tomodachi fest has to offer, or if you are a concerned parent and want to see if a particular event is right for your children, we offer a free one time tour of the convention area. With this tour you will have the opportunity to visit the artist alley, the dealer’s room, and the event rooms before purchasing a membership pass. Simply find any Tomodachi Fest staff member and they will direct you to the Registration Desk where our staff will be waiting to give you a tour of the convention center.

Pass Upgrading:

If you purchase a 1-day membership pass, you can upgrade it to a 3-day membership pass at any time by paying the difference.

Important!

Tomodachi Fest is no longer using the tidge system and from here on will be using a membership pass system. Pre-registration membership passes are not mailed out before Tomodachi Fest and will be required to be picked up during Tomodachi Fest.

Membership passes will be given to attendees at the registration desk during the convention. A valid photo ID (school issued IDs are accepted) is required to purchase a membership pass at the registration desk, a valid photo ID and a Paypal receipt is required to pick up your pre-registered membership pass. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the time of their membership pass pickup, and children 6 years and younger are granted free admission with a paying adult. We will require each attendee (or accompanying parent or guardian) to sign for his/her membership pass, acknowledging that they have agreed to obey all convention rules and policies.

A membership pass must be worn visibly between your neck and waist at all times and to gain access to all the areas of the convention. Tomodachi Fest staff will inquire about anyone who does not appear to have a membership pass. If you place your membership pass in a difficult to see or inconvenient place, Tomodachi Fest staff will ask you to please correct it by placing your membership pass between your neck and waist. If you are not wearing a membership pass, you will be asked to leave the convention area immediately or purchase a membership pass. Damaged or lost membership passes may be replaced at the discretion of the Tomodachi Fest Registration Head Coordinator, the Vice Chairman, or the Convention Chairman. Replacement will be subject to a fee of $10.00 fee. If you lose or damage your membership pass, please see the registration/info desk immediately. Membership passes may be resold or transferred "ONLY ONE TIME" to a new owner by getting approval from the Tomodachi Fest Registration Head Coordinator, the Vice Chairman, or the Convention Chairman during the convention or by getting approval by emailing Tomodachi Fest before the convention begins.

Attendees agree to provide complete and accurate registration information. In any case where Tomodachi Fest must contact an attendee for any reason, Tomodachi Fest cannot be held responsible for inaccurate information provided by the attendee. The only valid registration rates are those posted on the official website, and all official discounts will be listed there.

All sales are final with no refunds, but as stated above, you may resell or transfer your membership pass.

Counterfeiting Membership Passes and Sharing Membership Passes (aka Badge Swapping) Policy:

Counterfeiting membership passes or sharing a membership pass between multiple people is no different than stealing money directly from the Tomodachi itself. Not only does it hurt Tomodachi Fest financially, it makes it far more difficult for us to do Tomodachi Fest in the future. By counterfeiting membership passes or sharing a membership pass with multiple people we cannot, purchase new equipment, secure more or bigger guests, provide better programing, and keep membership pass prices as low as possible for everyone. Please make sure to legitimately purchase membership passes so we can continue to provide the best service we possible can for everyone attending Tomodachi Fest!

Those caught sharing a membership pass(aka badge swapping) between multiple people will be immediately remove from the Boise Hotel and Conference Center property and may be banned up to two years or more from any future Tomodachi Fest events.

Anyone found to be actively counterfeiting membership passes, selling counterfeit membership passes, or knowingly purchasing counterfeit membership passes will face all of the following consequences.

Immediately removal from the Boise Hotel and Conference Center property.
Permanently banned from any future Tomodachi Fest event.
Notification sent to other local conventions regarding actions taken.
Legal action taken against the individual(s) to the fullest extent of the law.
